Protes Serangan Gaza Hacker Anonymous Lancarkan Serangan Ke Situs Israel

Kelompok peretas Anonymous melancarkan serangkaian serangan terhadap sejumlah situs internet di Israel.

Dalam serangan tersebut, kelompok ini mematikan beberapa situs atau mengubah tampilan dengan memasang pesan-pesan pro Palestina.

Kampanye ini diberinama OpsIsrael dengan tujuan membalas serangan militer yang dilakukan di Gaza.

Serangan peretas ini datang bersamaan di saat militer Israel memutakhirkan situsnya dengan menambahkan "prestasi" dan "lencana" bagi pengunjung.

Anonymous mengatakan mereka meluncurkan kampanye OpIsrael menyusul ancaman pemerintah Israel untuk memotong semua jaringan telekomunikasi Gaza.

Hal ini menurut kelompok ini dalam sebuah pernyataan yang dimuat di situs AnonRelations, "melanggar garis di pasir".
"Kami adalah ANONYMOUS dan TIDAK ADA yang mematikan internet dalam pengawasan kami," katanya.

Kelompok ini memperingati pemerintah Israel untuk tidak mematikan jaringan telepon dan situs dan mendesak operasi militer di Gaza di akhiri.

Jika serangan tidak berakhir, Israel akan merasakan "kemurkaan penuh dan tak terkendali" dari kelompok ini.
Beberapa jam setelah pernyataan itu dimuat, Anonymous menampilkan daftar 87 situs yang diklaim telah diretas sebagai bagian dari OpIsrael.

Kebanyakan situs itu di defaced atau di ubah penampilannya dengan menampilkan pesan dukungan bagi Hamas dan Palestina.

Anonymous juga memproduksi paket informasi bagi warga Gaza tentang cara alternatif bagi mereka untuk berkomunikasi jika sambungan internet dan telekomunikasi lainnya diputus.

Perang propaganda

Di saat yang bersamaan ketika Anonymous menyerang situs Israel, Angkatan Bersenjata Israel mengubah ulang blog mereka dengan memberikan penghargaan bagi orang yang sering berkunjung dan berinteraksi dengan situs mereka.
Situs militer Israel ini menambah sebuah permainan, CalledIDF Ranks, yang memberikan angka bagi pengunjung yang jika dikumpulkan akan mendapatkan pangkat militer virtual.

Seorang pengunjung yang masuk ke situs tersebut sebanyak 10 kali akan mendapatkan lencana "konsisten" dan jika sering menggunakan kolom pencarian akan mendapat pangkat "petugas peneliti".

Militer mengatakan sistem ini sempat berhenti beberapa saat karena situs ini mengalami kepadatan yang luar biasa.
Sejak Rabu (14/11) lalu, situs ini mulai memberikan informasi langsung terkait operasi militer terhadap Hamas di Jalur Gaza.

Dengan cara yang sama, Hamas juga memberikan komentar langsung terkait serangan roket ke Israel melalui Twitter.
Sejak ketegangan meningkat di Gaza, kedua belah pihak memang aktif menggunakan situs jejaring sosial untuk melakukan perang proganda.
